Raised access floors for data centers in Uganda
Calcium sulphate and woodcore panels, perforated cooling tiles, pedestals and accessories. Supplied to Uganda and the rest of East Africa.
Why data centers use raised floors
A raised access floor creates a space under the white space for cold air, power and data cabling. Perforated tiles let you place cooling exactly where the equipment needs it, and lift-out panels give access to cables without disturbing the room.
We supply the full system: panels, pedestals, cooling tiles, cable grommets and the tools to handle them.
We supply raised floors in Uganda from our Kampala office, and deliver to Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
Raised floor panels and accessories
-

Calcium sulphate raised floor panels
600 x 600 mm
Made from calcium sulphate (gypsum), a non-combustible material. A solid, comfortable surface underfoot, suited to server halls and general white space.
-

Woodcore raised floor panels
For power rooms and tight spaces
Designed for sites where space constraints rule out calcium sulphate panels. A common choice for power rooms.
-

Perforated tiles for cold aisles
DirectPerf, 25% open area
The DirectPerf panel uses patent-pending technology to angle air towards equipment. It achieves a 93% Capture Index, so more of your cold air reaches the servers.
-

Aluminium perforated panels
For open-loop cooling
A very strong panel that works as an air vent in open-loop cooling layouts.
-

Raised floor pedestals
Galvanised, antistatic
Well-galvanised pedestals with antistatic properties that carry the panels above the slab. Ask for the load rating on the datasheet.
-

Cable grommets
Complete with brushes
Give cables a protected way through the floor. Grommets reduce wear and tear on cables and keep air from escaping around them.
-

Panel lifter
Suction lifter
A high-quality suction lifter for removing and replacing panels safely, which helps reduce injuries in the data center.

| Woodcore | Wood core | Power rooms, tight spaces | Use where calcium sulphate cannot be installed |
| DirectPerf 25% | Perforated, 25% open area | Cold aisles | Angles air to equipment, 93% Capture Index |
| Aluminium perforated | Aluminium | Open-loop cooling vents | Strong panel that doubles as an air vent |
Load ratings, fire ratings and certificates are on our datasheets. Ask for them in your quote request. Panel, pedestal and stringer datasheets are also on our downloads page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between calcium sulphate and woodcore panels?
Calcium sulphate panels are made from gypsum, a non-combustible material, and feel solid underfoot. Woodcore panels suit power rooms, or sites where calcium sulphate panels cannot be installed.
Which panel should I use in a cold aisle?
Use perforated panels. Our DirectPerf 25% panel angles air towards equipment and achieves a 93% Capture Index. Aluminium perforated panels suit open-loop cooling layouts.
Do you supply raised floors in Uganda?
Yes. We supply Uganda from our Kampala office, as well as Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
Do you install raised floors?
Tell us about your site in the quote request and we will confirm supply and installation options.
How do I lift panels safely?
Use a suction panel lifter. It gives a secure grip and reduces injuries when you open the floor.
